Choosing the best tweezers is a matter of personal choice. There are many different ways, but this does not mean that we cannot help you make a slightly more informed decision.

Insulating Tweezers and Classic Eyelashes

Eyelashes Tweezers isolation and classic eyelash extensions are somewhat interchangeable and often depend on the tweezers you receive at your first lesson: a friend of mine always used straight tweezers for eyelash isolation and when I told her that the angle was not right for me, she reminded me that she had only a straight shape during the lesson and was already used to the angle, so it worked! However, for me, the angled or curved insulator clamps were much more comfortable for my wrists as they were more neutral.

As for insulators, you can choose between straight insulators, tapered insulators, angled insulators or curved insulators, depending on what is more comfortable for your wrists.

To pick up classic lashes, you have all of the above options, plus multi-purpose tweezers; in any case, you should always have these in your collection, because they pick up classic lashes, Russian 3D volume curlers and are great for working with slightly soft lashes. Moreover, there is no reason not to use it for separating when necessary!

Before Buying Lashes

You have found your favourite insulating tweezers and have no problem applying a classic mascara, but now you need another one to add volume.
In addition to the multi-purpose tweezers we mentioned above, there are two main options when it comes to Russian volumetric tweezers: regular volumetric tweezers and fine-tipped volumetric tweezers.

Why the latter? A pair of tweezers designed specifically for volumising techniques are unique in creating and lifting a volume fan: they are a bit stronger and easier to grip, so you don’t lose the fan when you lift it off the tape. In addition, our award-winning eyelash extenders are hand-tested to make sure they are perfect for you.

Is it possible to use curved tweezers to create large fans?

Technically there is nothing against it, but remember that they do not last long, as they are only intended to hold natural lashes or curl classic lashes. If you find that curved tweezers work well for you, fine, but don’t be surprised if they don’t last as long or if you lose an eyelash or two every time you pick up the fan.

Are all London eyelash tweezers hand-tested?

All tweezers that can grip fans are tested for their capacity. All tweezers that are not designed to catch fans are visually tested to ensure that they are aesthetically pleasing and that the tips have not been damaged in transit – nobody likes a wobbly tip.

What happens if eyelash glue gets stuck on the tips of tweezers, do they get damaged?

Not at all. As they are made of stainless steel for medical use, you can easily clean them with our glue-removing tweezers, which are equipped with small sponges to remove glue from the tips.
